Description
This is a vastly updated copy of an older Source Filmmaker image I created back in August 2012, to test out the program's newfound rendering capabilities. It features KP-ShadowSquirrel's Renamon model (dubbed as "Renamon HD" by the Source Engine community) as its primary subject.
Since its creation, the image has been used as my primary desktop wallpaper. This motivated me to update the image throughout 2013 to make use of new techniques, technical features and experience that I have acquired overtime. Most of these updates were made privately with little to no public release on the internet until now.
Feel free to download it and make it your wallpaper. You may also ask for a copy with a smaller resolution or filesize if the one provided happens to be too excessive.
New features of the updated image from the 2012 version include:
- An Improved camera angle (less perspective)
- Improved lighting (e.g. less excessive blue lights & glowing eyes - *Renamon no longer looks like an insect)
- A larger Renamon (thanks to SFM's scaling feature, released in December 2013) - mainly done to make the character more in line with characters/objects of Source Engine games (e.g. Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2, etc)
- Some of Renamon's features (ears, tail) have been rescaled to better resemble its official Toei Animation counterpart
- A slightly adjusted pose
- 4K resolution
- Higher quality rendering (from 64 DoF samples to 1024)
- A Team Fortress 2 lightwarp applied to the Renamon texture
- Minor colour correction applied in Photoshop

She IS beautiful but her legs i think is too thin. Her thighs are a little sturdier
